I went to Paris on a fragrance safari recently and one of the scents I discovered was the Nishane Tuberóza X Extrait De Parfum. I have been wearing it a lot ever since and have had lots of compliments. Here’s what you need to know.
My Review
It was instant love with this fragrance because it contains just so many of my favourite notes. I am really obsessed with Tuberose at the moment, and another current top pick from me is the Maison Crivelli Tubereuse Astrale which I have written about in this fragrance review post.
The Nishane Tuberóza X has all that beautiful tuberose goodness, but it a much gentler yet lingering powdery cloud, that’s super addictive.
In the top note, I love the floral and ever so slightly spicy Ylang Ylang, along with uplifting and zesty mandarin. It then quickly opens out to the most stunning creamy tuberose cossetted with a beautifully powdery and clean violet note.
I find the lipstick accord in the heart is instantly recognisable, and as a huge lipstick lover, it is super comforting and cosy. The base notes of musk, amber and sandalwood make this fragrance very smooth, creamy and skin-like in the dry down, which I absolutely love.
I find Nishane Tuberóza X really long lasting and people comment on it later on in the day still, but it is not at all overpowering. I once sprayed too much of my other tuberose favourite, the Maison Crivelli Tubereuse Astrale* and the man on the train next to me got up and moved! Ha! I still absolutely adore it, but that never happens with Tuberóza X. It is much more of a personal fragrance without being too subtle. You will still get comments.
I will be wearing this a lot especially as I think it is great for both day and night. I love the bottle too, it’s a real work of art. The cap feels so gorgeously heavy and luxurious in the hand, which makes the whole experience feel so enjoyably decadent. Love it.
